Disabling Windows Firewall Go to the Control Panel and then to Network Connections…select your network connection and you’ll get something like this:

Okay you get this Window above and then you click Properties. Click on Properties:

Now click on the advanced tab at the top and then uncheck the “Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the internet”. Once you do this Win XP’s firewall will be off!
